Seeking Land Near Warrington

Seeking Land Near Warrington

Josh is looking to start a mixed farming enterprise, with a market garden and a small number of poultry and goats. He is looking for land within an hour’s drive from Warrington, and is open to land that needs work and development.

He would ideally be looking for 5 acres and no more than 10, and would require there to be water on the land. He is also interested in there being some trees on the site, or the potential to plant them, so that he can develop an agroforestry system.

Josh has been growing on allotments for coming on 5 years, and is looking to use his skills to put towards a new enterprise that will allow his young family a lifestyle change, and the resilience of producing food themselves.

His partner Irene has a wealth of experience working with horses and other animals, having trained as a vet in Spain, and would be looking to take on this element of the enterprise, working in collaboration with Josh.

They hope to be able to sell to farmers’ markets and local customers through direct sales.
