Meet Josh and Grace they have been casually selling cut flowers from their garden plot in Frome for the last three years. They have learnt a lot and are now looking to expand and establish a commercial cut flower enterprise on 1 or 2 acres within a 15 mile radius to Frome in Somerset, although this distance could be flexible for the perfect land. Josh has a background in marketing and Grace is RHS Level 2 qualified, she has worked extensively in gardens in estates with ornamental gardens. They intend to develop a business around rarer cut flowers selling direct to florists, at farmers markets, to collect from the farm, for events and via an honesty cupboard.

Josh and Grace are looking for land that has already been managed for horticulture, a walled garden or field on an estate would be ideal. They would  need permission for polytunnels and access to water with good access for deliveries. They would prefer that the land has been in recent cultivation and is without rampant perennial weeds, good soil health would be a bonus. They both intend to work full time on the plot.

This would suit a landowner looking to fill a small under used plot of horticultural land with a thriving new business.
