  • Land size: 5 acres
  • Type of Farming: Field scale veg
  • Accommodation Required: No

Meet Abi, having grown veg to feed her family for many years, she partnered with a local farmer four years ago to grow field scale veg, supplying wholesale contracts with numerous businesses across the region. Now is the time for her to manage her own plot and produce field scale veg, salads and herbs, edible flowers, soft fruit, and micro greens for the local community and beyond via local farm shops, restaurants, cafes and wholesale markets. Abi is looking in a specific 20 minute radius around Delabole in North Eastern Cornwall reaching Bodmin, Wadebridge, Bude, Launceston and Padstow.

Abi is looking for 5 acres where she can install a polytunnel, greenhouse and rainwater collection. She would ideally have access to a barn to store and pack her veg with a water supply as well but can start from a blank canvas if necessary. Abi is ready to hit the ground running with a strong customer base ready to go, she would ideally like to be able to get prepared for the next growing season. She is looking for something long term and would appreciate a landowner who aligns with her values around growing organic, nutrient dense vegetables, something that she would like to share with others eventually through an educational programme.

This opportunity would suit a landowner with some understanding and passion for organic farming, who can work with Abi’s enthusiasm and drive to grow large amounts of quality produce.
