Ambitious Farmer Seeking Grazing Land to Expand Quality Sheep Flock

Ambitious Farmer Seeking Grazing Land to Expand Quality Sheep Flock

Patrick is an experienced farmer looking for land, ideally in South Warwickshire. Patrick has a wealth of experience in livestock farming and wants to move back into farming full-time after developing his construction business for the last 5 years. Patrick attended Moreton Morrell agricultural college and worked on farms for 6 years, and has developed an interest in sheep breeding specifically. He wants the opportunity to procure more land to graze and develop the breeding quality of his flock (currently around 600 ewes), and ultimately move towards ram sales.

Patrick would like the opportunity to rotationally graze his ewes and investigate precision grazing as a way to improve the soil quality, ultimately delivering benefits for both the animals and the ecosystem.

Patrick has strong farming skills, is ready to take on an opportunity straight away, and also has the right skills to develop the land in the necessary ways. Patrick is on the lookout for the right opportunity, which will be more valuable than the location itself, and wants to work alongside someone who wants to support a young, skilled farmer to make a successful business.

Our FAQs page is a great place to find answers to many of the questions you might have along the way.Once you’ve registered, your regional coordinator will get in touch to arrange a call. This is a chance to talk through your ideas in more detail, gather the information we need, and answer any questions you have about the landmatching process.

Step 2

Your regional coordinator will guide and support you through these first meetings, making sure both sides get the most out of the experience.
