Land wanted for mixed farming enterprise in North Essex / South Cambridgeshire

Land wanted for mixed farming enterprise in North Essex / South Cambridgeshire

Kelly is looking for a mixed farming opportunity in the north Essex / South Cambridge area, ideally near the town of Saffron Waldon to build on her small sheep enterprise for lamb, fleeces and breeding.

Currently a landless farmer,  Kelly is looking for a long-term arrangement to be able to build up the flock. If possible she would like to build the sheep enterprise alongside egg and vegetable production for local markets.

Ideally the land would be between  2.5 and 5 hectares and have available water, fencing and a shed for storage.

Kelly has volunteered on the NSA lambing list for two years running (in Cumbria and Herefordshire)  and worked for a horticultural business growing and harvesting fruit and vegetables. Kelly currently works as a Farm Advisor and is undertaking an MSc / Apprenticeship in Soil Science.
