Large Greenhouse and < 1/2 Acre Outside Space With Accommodation in Gweek, Cornwall

Meet Adi and Gill.  they recently took on what was previously a large nursery and have developed some of it into an off grid campsite and enterprise hub for small horticulture businesses. They already have a syntropic start-up on site and are now looking for an established horticulture project to take on one of their three large greenhouses. One of the greenhouses is being offered to community members to rent a table each and the third is being used as a communal creative space.

The largest greenhouse is 40x12m and comes with tables already installed. Accommodation is being offered in the form of a static caravan on site, (see Pitch C). Accommodation and the greenhouse would total £600 per month or £400 if only the greenhouse was required. Some tidying up work is required to the greenhouses,  but automatic vents, water supply and power is all functional. The automatic shading mechanisms would need attention if those were needed.

There is flexibility by the landowner to be open to discussing the arrangement suggested here. (Eg. part exchange of produce/ labour or other variables).  The offer includes the supply of potable water from the borehole with three large filters plus UV filtration to the greenhouse and a small amount of electricity for free (higher electrical consumption will be charged on a meter). The offer is focused on making good use of the greenhouse resource but if some hardening off area or other outside space is needed to compliment the new initiative then there are outside spaces available up to about ½ acre of area. Facilities also include EV charging (subject to sun), communal toilets and showers, washing machine, social/creative workshop space and a tipi.

This opportunity would suit an established market gardener looking for an indoor growing space to rent locally or is moving their business to the area. The landowner is keen to make use of this resource and wants to ensure that landseekers taking on the space have the skills and funds to make an organic business thrive here.
