Grazing Animals and More, Andover, Hampshire

Grazing Animals and More, Andover, Hampshire

Westover Farm Partnership is offering a flexible opportunity to graze animals on a north facing slightly sloping 1-5 hectare plot. He is open to discussing other ideas for the plot but as the wider farm already supports a market garden among other businesses he is keen that any new enterprises don’t compete. The land is offered with low rent to start and scaled up over time as Will is keen to support an enterprise to get established in the first years.

There is a range of infrastructure available to a new tenant such as access track, water from the bore hole, parking, and toilet facilities. The use of other buildings is negotiable. The initial tenancy agreement would be three years with the chance to renew if all is going well, building up to a long term lease agreement of ten years. The land itself has been sown as a stewardship meadow over the last five years and occasionally grazed to keep the grass down.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a diverse community, the site is a hub of activity hosting 14 business tenants from a pilates studio to renewable energy, a landscaping business, a campsite and market garden. There is a real ethos of nurturing businesses to thrive and so there will be opportunities for mentorship and sharing of expertise.
